The team of specialists at Porter Hematology-Oncology provides patients with diagnosis, innovative treatment options and comprehensive care. With experience and training in a broad scope of cancers and blood disorders, our physicians strive to offer patient-centered services that are respectful and comforting to the patient and the patient's family. Porter Hematology-Oncology is a component of Porter Regional Hospital's comprehensive Cancer Care Center.
We treat many types of cancers, including advanced stage and complex cancers. Our physicians can see you in their offices, which are in the Medical Plaza located adjacent to Porter Regional Hospital. For those needing chemotherapy or radiation, those treatments are done in the Cancer Care Center on the first floor of the Medical Plaza.
We also treat patients with a variety of blood disorders, including anemia, lymphoma, leukemia and coagulopathies, among others. Treatments may include chemotherapy, medicines, nutritional counseling, transfusions, anticoagulant therapy, radiation or a combination of therapies.
