Rehabilitation Services
Springs Memorial Hospital is dedicated to helping people rebuild their lives after illness and injury. We believe that recovery encompasses both mind and body, so our comprehensive services address both the mental and physical aspects of rehabilitation. Our rehabilitation team includes knowledgeable, caring professionals who are dedicated to providing quality care and support.
Rehabilitation services at Springs Memorial Hospital consist of two distinct units - an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit and a transitional care unit located on the 7th floor, which is a short term skilled nursing facility. These units provide a valuable resource for the ill or injured patient once their medical status has been stabilized.
The acute inpatient rehabilitation unit focuses on assisting patients in regaining as much functionality as possible. Basic skills that allow patients to return home independently or with their families are one area where the unit excels.
