William Black, M.D., is a native of Birmingham, AL. He is a cardiologist with Alabama Cardiovascular Group, an affiliate of Grandview Medical Group. Dr. Black earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine training with Brookwood Baptist Health in Birmingham, AL. After serving as chief resident at Brookwood Baptist Health, he completed general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN.
Dr. Black enjoys building relationships with his patients and helping them feel their best with medications and healthy diet and lifestyle modifications. When he's not caring for patients, he spends his time playing golf and building guitars.
