Lower Keys Medical Center seeks community members for council
10/21/2020
Lower Keys Medical Center has established a Patient Family Advisory Council which is dedicated to the improvement of quality in the provision of compassionate, connected care for our patients and family members. The Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) includes members of the hospital staff and former patients or family members of patients.
“Gaining patient and family perspectives about the healthcare experience helps us maintain our patient-focused care and make improvements,” said David Clay, CEO. Community members on the Council work in advisory roles to enhance patient and family-centered care initiatives and support a culture that ensures healthcare is responsive to patient and family priorities, preferences and values.
Individuals who are interested in joining the Council can contact us via email or call (305) 294-5531, extension 3390 for an application. The council meets every other month for one hour. The next meeting will be held by phone or virtual app, at a date to be determined, due to COVID-19.
