Spiritual Care
At Northwest Health, care addresses physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those we serve, so chaplains are a valuable member of a multidisciplinary care team.
Chaplains are available to assist people of all faiths at each hospital location. Simply ask any patient care staff member to contact a chaplain for you.
We respect the religious traditions and practices of all faiths and are committed to supporting each patient’s specific needs. Chaplains are often available to:
- Visit with patients and family members – Chaplains can provide comfort and support for patients and families. Whether you need someone to listen, offer advice or encouragement, or join you in prayer, we can help.
- Offer assistance and resources – The chaplains can provide devotional materials and help with advance directives and other difficult matters.
- Coordinate with your clergy – If you would like to have someone from your faith tradition visit you or a family member in the hospital, we are available to help arrange it.
Whether you are anxious about your own or a loved one’s health, need help sorting through your feelings, or have lost someone close to you, the chaplains are available to help.
