Current Visitor Guidelines
Hospital visitation policies at the facilities are subject to change based on ongoing COVID trends. Please contact the hospital’s information desk for the current policy before visiting.
Visitors will be asked to self-screen for the following COVID-19 symptoms upon entry:
- Fever (100˚F or higher)
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Sore throat
- Weakness
- Muscle pain
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Loss of smell
- Chills
- Loss of taste
- New severe headache
Visitors with any COVID-19 symptoms will be instructed to not enter the facility unless they are seeking medical care.
Northwest Health continues to follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance in regard to masking. In accordance with the updated Interim Infection Prevention and Control Recommendations for Healthcare Personnel during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic, Northwest Health is utilizing the community transmission levels in determining universal source control (masking) options.
Masking requirements will be determined by the transmission rates in the hospital’s residing county. Masking will be required while inside the facility during high transmission rates. Masking will not be required while inside the hospital during substantial, moderate or low transmission rates.
Current transmission levels and masking requirements will be posted on signage inside hospitals’ entrances.
Masking is still optional for those that wish to continue wearing them regardless of transmission rates, and masks will remain available at facility entrances.
We appreciate your understanding and compliance. With your help, we can maintain a safe environment for all patients, visitors and staff.
