Grandview Medical Center Hosts Community Open House
10/7/2015
Grandview Medical Center hosted a Community Open House on Sunday, giving Birmingham residents a sneak preview of the new medical center opening on October 11th . Guests enjoyed refreshments, free t-shirts, and self-guided tours of key clinical departments and patient areas.
“The event was a huge success, and a very exciting day for the entire Grandview team,” said Keith Granger, president and CEO of Grandview Health. “Birmingham has a thriving medical community, and the enthusiasm we are seeing from the community reflects the need for a full-service hospital right here in this part of the city.”
The Medical Center consists of 10 floors and 372 beds, along with a Level III Trauma Center, a certified Chest Pain Center, a Hybrid OR and 30 operating rooms. Visitors also previewed the dedicated Super Track area in the ER and the adjacent helipad, the Visi Mobile patient tracking system, and demonstrations of the ACESO eCare Board technology in patient rooms.
