Grandview Medical Center actively participates in the Speak Up program sponsored by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, which urges patients to get involved in their care to include reporting concerns regarding safety. These efforts are to increase awareness and involvement and are also supported by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Providing quality care with a personal touch is the ultimate goal of the staff at Grandview Medical Center. If at any time you have a concern, we welcome your comments and will work toward a resolution to your satisfaction. To report a concern regarding all care and services provided, please ask for the supervisor or department manager in the area of the hospital where you are receiving care. If they are not able to assist you please contact the administrative offices at 205-971-1200.
The staff of Grandview Medical Center always wants to assist you to resolve any questions or concerns that you may have. In the event you feel like we have not been able to address matters to your satisfaction, the following agencies are also available to assist you with your concerns:
Medicare / Alabama Beneficiaries:
Your right to file a complaint - If you have a complaint about the quality of medical care that you have received, you may call 1.800.MEDICARE (1.800.633.4227) seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The Medicare customer service representatives may refer you to KePRO which is the Quality Improvement Organization for Beneficiary and Family Centered Care for Alabama.
