Urgent Need for Blood – Please Consider Giving!

Grandview Medical Center Hosts Blood Drive

BIRMINGHAM, AL (May 14, 2019) ---- There is currently an urgent need for blood donations in our community particularly Type O blood. On Wednesday, May 15, Grandview Medical Center and the American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive from 10 am to 5 pm, in the hospital’s conference center located off the first floor lobby. This blood drive is open to the public.

All donors will receive a movie ticket, $5 Amazon card, and either a T-shirt or Grandview Café meal ticket.

Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are accepted. To schedule an appointment, go to www.redcrossblood.org and enter keyword GRANDVIEW or call 1-800-RED-CROSS. Please bring a photo ID or American Red Cross donor card with you. Free parking in the hospital parking deck will be available. Donors can bring their parking ticket with them for validation.

Grandview Medical Center is located on Highway 280 at 3690 Grandview Parkway, just east of The Summit on Highway 280.
