JOHNSON, Ark. (Nov. 20, 2023) — Bethany Morrison, M.D., board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), recently joined the active medical staff of Northwest Health, practicing at Willow Creek Women’s Clinic at 4301 Greathouse Springs Road, Suite 100, in Johnson, and she is currently accepting new patients.
Dr. Morrison said she chose OB/GYN as her field of medicine to help educate and empower women to make health care choices consistent with their goals and beliefs.
“I'm committed to all aspects of women's health, but particularly enjoy obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and contraceptive care,” she said.
Dr. Morrison received her medical education and completed her residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She also holds a master’s degree in public health and a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Dr. Morrison offers care for women at all stages in life including family planning services, annual preventive women’s care, prenatal and postpartum care, menstrual dysfunction care including evaluation and treatment, pelvic pain and endometriosis care, contraception management and sexual health screening and education.
A former college basketball player at Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Morrison stays active in her free time enjoying the outdoors with her goldendoodle, Russell, and spending time with friends exploring local restaurants and shops. She is a Razorback fan who grew up in central Arkansas and said she is excited to cheer on the Hogs in person now that she has relocated to Northwest Arkansas.
