SSRH welcomes Dr. Robert Schatz to Northwest Cardiology – Siloam Springs

Robert Schatz, M.D., board certified cardiovascular disease and internal medicine physician, recently joined the active medical staff of Siloam Springs Regional Hospital, practicing at Northwest Cardiology – Siloam Springs.
Dr. Robert Schatz is a cardiologist with expertise in transthoracic, contrast, dobutamine and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and nuclear cardiology and vascular testing. He earned his medical education at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, Los Angeles, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
He then completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Southern California-Los Angeles County Medical Center. Dr. Schatz completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of California, Irvine and Veterans Administration Hospital Long Beach.
Dr. Schatz’s medical interests include echocardiogram, strain imaging, TEE, CT, MRI, lipids, nutrition and hypertension.
In his free time Dr. Schatz enjoys music and the outdoors including hiking, racquet sports and bicycling. He is married with three children.
