Behavioral Health Services
At Springs Memorial Hospital, our Behavioral Health Unit is designed specifically for adults aged 55+ who are experiencing mental, emotional or behavioral problems. This new 12-bed, short-term inpatient unit provides care for older adults in our community who are struggling with mental health concerns ranging from depression and anxiety to psychosis and mood/behavior changes associated with dementia.
Springs Memorial Behavioral Health Unit provides:
- Medical evaluation
- Social work evaluation
- Psychiatrist-monitored medication management
- Group and activity therapy
- Individual therapy
- Family therapy
- Discharge and aftercare planning
Our goal is to provide compassionate and dignified care to meet the individual needs of each patient, so they may quickly return to their families and communities.
