Inpatient Treatment Services
When individuals with acute psychiatric disorders are unable to function on their own, or pose a danger to themselves or others, inpatient treatment can be a safe and effective option.
A multidisciplinary team provides stabilization, evaluation, planning and treatment services in a safe, secure environment with 24-hour nursing care. Trained behavioral health professionals address the mental, emotional and physical needs of patients and help patients learn coping skills to manage their condition effectively.
We develop a customized treatment plan for each individual that draws from a variety of services and therapies, including:
- Activity and occupational therapy
- Medication management
- Memory and mental status assessment
- Individual and group therapy
- Patient and family education
- Stress management, coping and relaxation techniques
- Care from evaluation through recovery
The behavioral health services unit, located at the Northwest Medical Center - Springdale campus, accepts adult patients 24 hours a day.
