After an accident or illness, some patients need intensive therapy before they can leave the hospital. Inpatient rehabilitation is where the greatest gains in recovery are seen in the shortest time. We offer speech/language, physical and occupational therapy, as well as nursing services, provided by a team of dedicated professionals who share a common goal: to return patients as soon as possible to their home or home-like setting.
Our inpatient rehabilitation facility is located at Northwest Medical Center - Springdale. All rooms are private, physician coverage is available around the clock and the nursing staff has received specialized training in rehabilitation. Northwest Medical Center - Springdale has received The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of ApprovalTM for both orthopedics and stroke care.
The multidisciplinary team specializes in individualized inpatient rehabilitation programs. We believe in a team approach to care, that involves patients, family members and health care providers. Your rehabilitation care team includes:

Social visits should occur after 4 p.m. due to scheduled therapies and medical treatments. If a caregiver would like to observe a specific therapy session, please speak with the social worker or therapist.
Care coordinators and social workers are available on the unit to answer questions and help facilitate a smooth discharge process. Inpatient rehabilitation may be available to patients who:
