Plastic Surgery
Northwest Health offers a variety of plastic or cosmetic surgery options, delivered by a multidisciplinary team of board-certified plastic surgeons, specialized nurses and trained clinicians.
Whether you need breast reconstruction following cancer treatment or are considering a surgical contouring procedure such as a tummy tuck, we offer several cosmetic surgery procedures, including:
- Arm lift (brachioplasty) - a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to improve the appearance of the under portion of the upper arm. During an arm lift, excess skin and fat are removed from between the armpit and elbow.
- Brazilian buttock lift with fat transfer - a fat-grafting procedure that improves the fullness and shape of the buttocks using the patient’s own fat. Liposuction is performed in areas that have excess fat—typically the abdomen, sides and hips, and/or lower back—to both improve the proportions and contour of the lower body and harvest fat to be added to the buttocks. The collected fat is then purified and prepared for grafting before your cosmetic surgeon strategically injects the fat into specific areas of your buttocks to create a fuller, more defined shape.
- Breast augmentation, reduction or reconstruction after breast surgery
- Breast lift, also known as mastopexy - raises the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour.
- Eyelid surgery (blepharosplasty) - a surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the eyelids or improve vision that is impaired by loose or sagging skin. Surgery can be performed on the upper lids, lower lids or both.
- Facelift (rhytidectomy) - a surgical procedure that can improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck.
- Liposuction, including ultrasound techniques - Ultrasound-assisted liposuction is not a weight control method or a fix for obesity. The procedure is used to help contour the body in those areas that are not responsive to diet and exercise, such as saddlebags or a paunchy stomach.
- “Mommy Makeovers” - designed to restore the shape and appearance of a woman's body after childbearing, often using a combination of a tummy tuck and breast lift
- Neck lifts (lower rhytidectomy) - can improve visible signs of aging in the jawline and neck.
- Nose surgery (rhinoplasty) - can correct breathing problems or improve appearance
- Thigh lift surgery - can reshape the thighs by reducing excess skin and fat, resulting in smoother skin and better-proportioned contours of the thighs and lower body.
- Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) - a cosmetic surgery procedure used to make the abdomen thinner and more firm. The surgery involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen in order to tighten the muscle and fascia of the abdominal wall.
